If elected, Arizona's Kari Lake has promised to be the medias worst fricking nightmare

Kari Lake threatens to be the media’s “worst fricking nightmare” if she wins.

Kari Lake, a Republican candidate for governor in Arizona who is linked to Donald Trump, stated on Tuesday to the media that if she were successful in her campaign for the post, she would be their “worst fricking nightmare for eight years”

The Democratic Party of Arizona has nominated Katie Hobbs to run for governor as their candidate for the job she now holds.

It has been speculated that Donald Trump, who it is widely expected will run for the Republican presidential nomination in 2024 and who has hinted that he will make the announcement this month, will select Lake to serve as his running mate.

On Tuesday, the former news anchor for a television station was asked about the prospect, and in response, she said that “We have talked about this previously.” In the future, in addition to continuing in my current role as Governor of Arizona for the next two years, I want to make a combined total of two bids for the position of Governor.

“Over the next eight years, I am going to make your worst fricking nightmare come true, and together we are going to profoundly alter the media. Prepare yourself to do the duties that are necessary for journalists once again, since that is the role that we want you to play while you are working with us and we want you to become ready to execute those jobs.

To everyone concerned, the next eight years are going to seem like they’ve gone by in the blink of an eye because time will fly by so quickly. I have no doubt that the time we spend working together will be filled with laughter and joy, which is why I can’t wait for us to get started on this endeavor.

Despite having found success while working inside the mainstream media, Lake has begun to attack it, much as Trump has done.

Until Donald Trump entered politics, he hosted the NBC reality program “The Apprentice” for a combined total of 14 seasons before the show was discontinued.

The majority of Lake’s career was spent at KSAZ-TV, the Fox station in Phoenix, where he was most well-recognized for his work as an anchor. During this time, Lake won several awards. In addition to this, Lake worked as a police officer in the Phoenix region during this time period.

On the day of the election, Lake disseminated a campaign commercial in which she could be seen slamming TVs together. In the video, she was campaigning for a political position.

Lake, who has repeated Trump’s propagandist lies about election fraud in his loss to Joe Biden in 2020, claimed in the advertisement that “it’s time to take a sledgehammer to the lies and propaganda of the mainstream media.”

Biden defeated Lake in the race for the Democratic nomination for president in 2020. The length of time that the advertising was broadcast was three minutes and fifty seconds. In the presidential election that will take place in 2020, Joe Biden and Jeff Lake are going to be competing against one another.

The TVs that Lake removed exhibited news anchors from MSNBC and CNN, such as Don Lemon, who is still employed by CNN, as well as Chris Cuomo and Brian Stelter, who have since left their job there.

In addition to this, Lake said that members of the media have engaged in “fear-mongering to persuade a terrified and broken society,” a tactic that communists use “straight out of the playbook.”

She said, “I am aware of this owing to the fact that I was formerly employed by one of the most recognized media outlets while it was in its heyday.”

On Tuesday, people in Arizona went to the polls, and the choice that Lake made to pursue a career in politics seemed to be paying off. Lake won both of the state’s congressional seats.

According to the Cook Political Report, the race for governor is considered to be a “toss-up,” although the polling website FiveThirtyEight has given Lake a win probability of 68%.

“Lake’s views on the legitimacy of the 2020 election have made her a polarizing figure,” Larry Sabato, Kyle Kondik, and J Miles Coleman wrote, pointing to worries about how Lake might approach the presidential election in 2024.

On the other hand, in contrast to her Democratic opponent, who has drawn attention to the fact that she has refused to take part in any debates, she is more approachable. Instead, in comparison to her Democratic rival, she is easier to communicate with.
